[00:00:00] Foreign. [00:00:05] Welcome to ChatGPT Curious, a podcast for people who are, well, curious about ChatGPT. I'm, um, your host, Dr. Shantae Cofield, also known as the Maestro, and I created this show to explore what ChatGPT actually is really, though, are the files in the computer, how to use it, and what it might mean for how we think, work, create, and move through life. Whether you're skeptical, intrigued, or already experimenting, you're in the right place. All that I ask is that you stay curious. All right, let's get into it. [00:00:38] Hello, hello, hello, my curious people, and welcome to the trailer episode of ChatGPT Curious. I am your host, Dr. Shantae Cofield. No one actually calls me that, but it's fun to throw out there every now and again since I paid so much for that degree. [00:00:52] Um, but you can call me Shantae, you can call me Maestro, whatever you want. [00:00:57] I started this podcast to get this stuff quite simply out of my head. I've been super interested in ChatGPT since it was released to the world. Uh, November, In November of 2022, and this past year, 2025, I took a super deep dive. And now I'm sharing what I've learned. The, uh, things that I'm continuing to learn. My thoughts, my opinions, and just all the ideas that I have about it that I need to get out of my head. My, my vision with this podcast is that it serves as both a resource and a jumping off point for all things Chat GPT and in some cases, AI in general. It's such a big kind of blanket suitcase term, so I'll definitely be covering that as well. [00:01:40] Uh, I'm gonna explain what things are. So terms like LLM and parameters and AGI, and again, even that word AI, or that phrase, AI, what do these words actually mean for us? [00:01:53] I'm, uh, going to talk about how to use it. You know, you go to chatgpt.com and there's just an empty prompt box staring at you, and it's like, well, what do I do? Are there files in the computer? So I'm going to go over that. And I also plan on spending a good amount of time speaking to the bigger picture about ChatGPT and what it and AI means for us. For the environment, yes, I am concerned about that. And, and for the world in general. [00:02:19] This is a major technology, folks. It's here. It is not going anywhere. And I think that there are currently kind of two camps out there. One that's saying it's overhyped. Ignore it. Another camp that's saying it's going to take over everything. Hide your kids, hide your wife. This thing is going to change everything, and it's going to do so in the next five minutes. [00:02:38] Let's have some nuance, shall we? Right? Uh, let's read some stuff, let's watch some videos, let's listen to some different voices, let's do our own research, and let's get curious. That is what I want to bring to you with this podcast. So I'm not a coder, I'm not a tech bro. I am not an AI Stan, you know, as the kids would say. [00:02:59] But, you know, I do believe that I have, uh, you know, above average tech tenacity and above average tech interest at this point. Uh, including the tech familiarity, which is what I hope, honestly makes this podcast relatable and understandable by you. I. Relatable to you, understandable by you. Background wise, I'm a physical therapist by trade. Cue the problem solving. Right. Uh, I've been an online business owner since 2014 and an online business coach since 2020. Hence the tech familiarity and the proficiency. [00:03:31] Um, but honestly, my whole shtick and the through line through all of this is helping people build and live their best life, whatever that looks like for them. Now, I realize, you know, saying that I believe Chat GPT and AI can help us with building and living our best lives. It may sound really bullish and like, I've completely drank the Kool aid and like, OpenAI is paying me for this podcast. I promise you, they are not paying me. [00:03:56] Um, but I do believe there are tons of different ways that ChatGPT and AI can benefit us. But that starts with understanding what the heck it even is. And then we can, you know, start incorporating, hearing how other people are using it, and then we can start experimenting with it ourselves, all the while considering and being mindful of the bigger picture and the implications for the environment and for humanity. [00:04:20] My background, my niche, if you will, is in the health and fitness community. And if you've come here from that side of my life, welcome. Thank you for still being here with me. As far as this podcast goes, this show goes, it is honestly, for anyone who is curious about Chat GPT. Now I realize I am going against my own advice, my own business advice, my own business coaching advice. And I'm not, you know, super niching down, but going to let the fact that it's chatgpt focused be niched, niched, niched enough. So if you're curious about ChatGPT, what it is how to use it, how it's changing, where it's going. [00:04:58] You are in the right place. [00:05:01] New episodes will drop every Thursday. [00:05:04] I'm going to have an accompanying newsletter that drops every Thursday as well. For those of you who want the information in written form, you can head to ChatGPT curious forward/ Newsletter. If you want to sign up for that. I will link all the things in the show notes. By the way, you, uh, can head to the website, which is just chat GPT curious.com if you want to search the episodes. Uh, and while you're there, you can check out my favorite page, which is chatgptcurious.com forward/curious-finds where I share live links and summaries to all the articles, the videos, the podcast episodes that I consume related to chat GPT and I and AI and, uh, that I have found to be actually helpful. If you have requests, questions, comments, concerns, anything like that, use the contact form on the website. I would love to hear you. [00:05:53] I'd love to hear from you. Podcasting is such a, you know, unidirectional platform. So any contact with you, I'd love it. All right, gonna wrap it up there. Big, big, big grateful for your time and your attention, and I hope you'll tune in for more. Until next time, friends, stay curious. Maestro.
